Commentary
In Sāṃkhya style, Krishna begins listing the constituents of the field (verses 6–7): the five great elements, ego, intellect, unmanifest primordial nature, the ten senses plus the mind, and the five sense-objects — all part of the traditional twenty-four categories (tattvas) of Sāṃkhya philosophy.
