ಅರ್ಥ: ವ್ಯಾಕರಣಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೇ ಸಂಜ್ಞಾಶಬ್ದಾನ್ ವರ್ಜಯಿತ್ವಾ ಅನ್ಯತ್ರ ಶಬ್ದಗ್ರಹಣೇನ ಸ್ವರೂಪಗ್ರಹಣಂ ಭವತಿ । ಸಂಜ್ಞಾಶಬ್ದಾನಾಂ ಗ್ರಹಣೇನ ತು ಅರ್ಥಗ್ರಹಣಂ ಕ್ರಿಯತೇ ।
