ಅರ್ಥ: ಯತ್ರ ದ್ವಯೋಃ ಗಣಯೋಃ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಕಸ್ಯಚನ ಸಮ್ಬನ್ಧಸ್ಯ ವಿಧಾನಮ್ ಕ್ರಿಯತೇ ತತ್ರ ತಯೋಃ ಸಙ್ಖ್ಯಾ ಸಮಾನಾ ಅಸ್ತಿ ಚೇತ್ ಸಃ ಸಮ್ಬನ್ಧಃ ತಯೋಃ ಸದಸ್ಯೇಷು ಯಥಾಸಙ್ಖ್ಯಮ್ ವಿಧೀಯತೇ ।
Meaning: When a certain relation is given between two groups having same number of elements, then the relation is considered to exist only between the correspondingly positioned members of the two groups.
