ಚುರಾದಿಗಣ (curādi-gaṇa — tenth conjugation class)

ಅರ್ಥ: ಧಾತುಗಳ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ಗಣ — चुर् ("ಕದಿಯು") ಧಾತುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
Meaning: The tenth and last verb class, named after its representative root चुर् ("to steal").

ಚುರಾದಿಗಣದ ಧಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ "अय" ವಿಕರಣ ಸೇರುತ್ತದೆ (ಉದಾ: चुर् → चोर + अयति → चोरयति) — ಇದೇ ರಚನೆ ಣಿಚ್ (causative) ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯದಂತೆಯೇ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಧಾತುವಿನದೇ ಮೂಲ ರೂಪ. cf. ಣಿಚ್.

Curādi-class roots take the "aya" vikaraṇa (e.g. cur → cor + aya-ti → corayati) — the same shape as the ಣಿಚ್ (causative) suffix, but here it's the root's own basic present, not a derived causative.

ಈ ಗಣದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಧಾತು ಈವರೆಗೆ ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿಸಲಾದ ಗೀತಾ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ.
