ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೫೭ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ಮಹರ್ಷಿಃ ಕಪಿಲಾಚಾರ್ಯಃ ಕೃತಜ್ಞೋ ಮೇದಿನೀಪತಿಃ ।
ತ್ರಿಪದಸ್ತ್ರಿದಶಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೋ ಮಹಾಶೃಂಗಃ ಕೃತಾಂತಕೃತ್ ॥ ೫೭ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ಮಹರ್ಷಿಃ	The great sage
ಕಪಿಲಾಚಾರ್ಯಃ	The teacher in the form of sage Kapila
ಕೃತಜ್ಞಃ	The grateful one
ಮೇದಿನೀಪತಿಃ	The lord of the earth
ತ್ರಿಪದಃ	The one of three strides
ತ್ರಿದಶಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷಃ	The overseer of the thirty gods
ಮಹಾಶೃಂಗಃ	The one of the great horn
ಕೃತಾಂತಕೃತ್	The one who brings about the end of creation

(महर्षिः कपिलाचार्यः कृतज्ञो मेदिनीपतिः ।
त्रिपदस्त्रिदशाध्यक्षो महाशृङ्गः कृतान्तकृत् ॥ ५७ ॥)

maharṣiḥ kapilācāryaḥ kṛtajño medinīpatiḥ |
tripadastridaśādhyakṣo mahāśṛṅgaḥ kṛtāntakṛt || 57 ||
