ಸನ್ನಿಯಮ್ಯೇನ್ದ್ರಿಯಗ್ರಾಮಂ ಸರ್ವತ್ರ ಸಮಬುದ್ಧಯಃ ।

ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನ
ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೧೨-೩ ಮತ್ತು ೧೨-೪ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದೇ ವಾಕ್ಯ. ನಿರ್ಗುಣ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವವರೂ ಸಹ - ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳ ಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಹತೋಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು (ಸನ್ನಿಯಮ್ಯ ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗ್ರಾಮಂ), ಸಮಾನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ (ಸಮಬುದ್ಧಯಃ), ಸರ್ವಭೂತಹಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ (ಸರ್ವಭೂತಹಿತೇ ರತಾಃ) - ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಅದೇ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೆ (ಪ್ರಾಪ್ನುವಂತಿ) ಎಂದು ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸಗುಣ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಗುಣ ಉಪಾಸನೆ ಎರಡೂ ಒಂದೇ ಗುರಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಸೂಚ್ಯ.

Commentary
Verses 12.3–4 form a single sentence. Krishna states that those who worship the impersonal Absolute — while practicing sense-control, equanimity, and dedication to the welfare of all beings — ultimately reach the very same Supreme. Both the personal (saguṇa) and impersonal (nirguṇa) paths are shown to lead to the same goal.
