ತತಃ ಶ್ವೇತೈರ್ಹಯೈರ್ಯುಕ್ತೇ ಮಹತಿ ಸ್ಯಂದನೇ ಸ್ಥಿತೌ ।

ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನ
ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಪಾಂಡವರ ಕಡೆಯ ಶಂಖನಾದದ ವರ್ಣನೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ (ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೧೪-೧೯). ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಜುನ ಒಂದೇ ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ - ಇದು ಗೀತೆಯ ಮುಂದಿನ ಸಂವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

Commentary
The description of the conch-blowing on the Pāṇḍava side begins here (verses 14–19). This is the first mention of Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna seated together in the same chariot — setting the stage for the dialogue that forms the rest of the Gita.
