ಪಶ್ಯೈತಾಂ ಪಾಂಡುಪುತ್ರಾಣಾಮ್ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ಮಹತೀಂ ಚಮೂಂ ।

ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನ
ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನು ದ್ರೋಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಂಗ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ - ಪಾಂಡವ ಸೇನೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯೂಹರಚಿಸಿದವನು ಸ್ವತಃ ಆಚಾರ್ಯರ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಾದ ಧೃಷ್ಟದ್ಯುಮ್ನನೇ ಎಂದು. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಆತಂಕ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರುವಿನ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಅಪನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ಛಾಯೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನಕಾರರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Commentary
Duryodhana pointedly reminds Droṇācārya that the very general who arrayed the Pāṇḍava army is Droṇa's own disciple, Dhṛṣṭadyumna — commentators read a subtle note of anxiety and mistrust of his teacher in this remark.
