ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೮೦ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ಅಮಾನೀ ಮಾನದೋ ಮಾನ್ಯೋ ಲೋಕಸ್ವಾಮೀ ತ್ರಿಲೋಕಧೃಕ್ ।
ಸುಮೇಧಾ ಮೇಧಜೋ ಧನ್ಯಃ ಸತ್ಯಮೇಧಾ ಧರಾಧರಃ ॥ ೮೦ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ಅಮಾನೀ	The one free from vanity
ಮಾನದಃ	The giver of honor
ಮಾನ್ಯಃ	The one worthy of honor
ಲೋಕಸ್ವಾಮೀ	The Lord of the world
ತ್ರಿಲೋಕಧೃಕ್	The sustainer of the three worlds
ಸುಮೇಧಾಃ	One of excellent intellect
ಮೇಧಜಃ	One born from sacrifice/wisdom
ಧನ್ಯಃ	The blessed, fortunate one
ಸತ್ಯಮೇಧಾಃ	One whose wisdom is ever true
ಧರಾಧರಃ	The bearer of the earth

(अमानी मानदो मान्यो लोकस्वामी त्रिलोकधृक् ।
सुमेधा मेधजो धन्यः सत्यमेधा धराधरः ॥ ८० ॥)

amānī mānado mānyo lokasvāmī trilokadhṛk |
sumedhā medhajo dhanyaḥ satyamedhā dharādharaḥ || 80 ||
