ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೯೯ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ಉತ್ತಾರಣೋ ದುಷ್ಕೃತಿಹಾ ಪುಣ್ಯೋ ದುಃಸ್ವಪ್ನನಾಶನಃ ।
ವೀರಹಾ ರಕ್ಷಣಃ ಸಂತೋ ಜೀವನಃ ಪರ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತಃ ॥ ೯೯ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ಉತ್ತಾರಣಃ	The one who ferries across saṃsāra
ದುಷ್ಕೃತಿಹಾ	The destroyer of evil deeds
ಪುಣ್ಯಃ	The meritorious one
ದುಃಸ್ವಪ್ನನಾಶನಃ	The destroyer of bad dreams
ವೀರಹಾ	The slayer of heroes/demons
ರಕ್ಷಣಃ	The protector
ಸಂತಃ	The virtuous ones
ಜೀವನಃ	The giver of life
ಪರ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತಃ	The one firmly established everywhere

(उत्तारणो दुष्कृतिहा पुण्यो दुःस्वप्ननाशनः ।
वीरहा रक्षणः सन्तो जीवनः पर्यवस्थितः ॥ ९९ ॥)

uttāraṇo duṣkṛtihā puṇyo duḥsvapnanāśanaḥ |
vīrahā rakṣaṇaḥ santo jīvanaḥ paryavasthitaḥ || 99 ||
