ವ್ಯಾಕರಣ: ಸಮ್ + ಧಾತು तुष् (tuṣ, "to be pleased") ಕ್ತ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯ (ಭೂತಕೃದಂತ) — ಪ್ರಥಮಾ ಏಕವಚನ ಪುಲ್ಲಿಂಗ.
sam + tuṣ ("to be pleased"), past passive participle — nominative singular masculine. Compare ಜೋಷಯೇತ್ (causative of the same root, 3.26).
