ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೧೪ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ಸರ್ವಗಃ ಸರ್ವವಿದ್ಭಾನುರ್ವಿಷ್ವಕ್ಸೇನೋ ಜನಾರ್ದನಃ ।
ವೇದೋ ವೇದವಿದ್ಅವ್ಯಂಗೋ ವೇದಾಂಗೋ ವೇದವಿತ್ ಕವಿಃ ॥ ೧೪ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ಸರ್ವಗಃ	The all-pervading one
ಸರ್ವವಿತ್	The all-knowing one
ಭಾನುಃ	The resplendent one, the sun
ವಿಷ್ವಕ್ಸೇನಃ	One whose army/hosts extend everywhere
ಜನಾರ್ದನಃ	He who afflicts the wicked, or is sought by people for their needs
ವೇದಃ	The Veda itself, sacred knowledge
ವೇದವಿತ್	The knower of the Vedas
ಅವ್ಯಂಗಃ	The one without blemish, complete
ವೇದಾಂಗಃ	One whose limbs are the Vedas
ವೇದವಿತ್	The knower of the Vedas (again)
ಕವಿಃ	The seer/poet, one of profound vision

(सर्वगः सर्वविद्भानुर्विष्वक्सेनो जनार्दनः ।
वेदो वेदविदव्यङ्गो वेदाङ्गो वेदवित् कविः ॥ १४ ॥)

sarvagaḥ sarvavidbhānurviṣvakseno janārdanaḥ |
vedo vedavidavyaṅgo vedāṅgo vedavit kaviḥ || 14 ||
