ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೧೫ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ಲೋಕಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷಃ ಸುರಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೋ ಧರ್ಮಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷಃ ಕೃತಾಕೃತಃ ।
ಚತುರಾತ್ಮಾ ಚತುರ್ವ್ಯೂಹಶ್ಚತುರ್ದಂಷ್ಟ್ರಶ್ಚತುರ್ಭುಜಃ ॥ ೧೫ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ಲೋಕಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷಃ	The overseer/superintendent of the worlds
ಸುರಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷಃ	The overseer of the gods
ಧರ್ಮಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷಃ	The overseer of dharma/righteousness
ಕೃತಾಕೃತಃ	One who is both the doer and yet remains uninvolved
ಚತುರಾತ್ಮಾ	One with a fourfold nature/self
ಚತುರ್ವ್ಯೂಹಃ	One manifest in four emanations
ಚತುರ್ದಂಷ್ಟ್ರಃ	One with four tusks
ಚತುರ್ಭುಜಃ	The four-armed one

(लोकाध्यक्षः सुराध्यक्षो धर्माध्यक्षः कृताकृतः ।
चतुरात्मा चतुर्व्यूहश्चतुर्दंष्ट्रश्चतुर्भुजः ॥ १५ ॥)

lokādhyakṣaḥ surādhyakṣo dharmādhyakṣaḥ kṛtākṛtaḥ |
caturātmā caturvyūhaścaturdaṃṣṭraścaturbhujaḥ || 15 ||
