ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೪ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ಸರ್ವಃ ಶರ್ವಃ ಶಿವಃ ಸ್ಥಾಣುರ್ಭೂತಾದಿರ್ನಿಧಿರ್ಅವ್ಯಯಃ ।
ಸಂಭವೋ ಭಾವನೋ ಭರ್ತಾ ಪ್ರಭವಃ ಪ್ರಭುರ್ಈಶ್ವರಃ ॥ ೪ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ಸರ್ವಃ	The All, everything
ಶರ್ವಃ	He who can put an end to all
ಶಿವಃ	The auspicious one
ಸ್ಥಾಣುಃ	The immovable pillar, the ever-fixed one
ಭೂತಾದಿಃ	The origin/source of all beings
ನಿಧಿಃ	The treasure, the inexhaustible storehouse
ಅವ್ಯಯಃ	Imperishable
ಸಂಭವಃ	He who takes birth of his own will
ಭಾವನಃ	He who nourishes/causes the prosperity of all
ಭರ್ತಾ	The supporter, sustainer
ಪ್ರಭವಃ	The source/origin of all things
ಪ್ರಭುಃ	The Lord/Master, all-capable
ಈಶ್ವರಃ	The Supreme Controller

(सर्वः शर्वः शिवः स्थाणुर्भूतादिर्निधिरव्ययः ।
सम्भवो भावनो भर्ता प्रभवः प्रभुरीश्वरः ॥ ४ ॥)

sarvaḥ śarvaḥ śivaḥ sthāṇurbhūtādirnidhiravyayaḥ |
