ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೪೩ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ರಾಮೋ ವಿರಾಮೋ ವಿರಜೋ ಮಾರ್ಗೋ ನೇಯೋ ನಯೋಽನಯಃ ।
ವೀರಃ ಶಕ್ತಿಮತಾಂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠೋ ಧರ್ಮೋ ಧರ್ಮವಿದುತ್ತಮಃ ॥ ೪೩ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ರಾಮಃ	The delightful one, source of all joy
ವಿರಾಮಃ	The final resting place, cessation of transmigration
ವಿರಜಃ	The one free from all impurity
ಮಾರ್ಗಃ	The path
ನೇಯಃ	The one to be led towards, by scriptural knowledge
ನಯಃ	Right policy/conduct itself
ಅನಯಃ	One beyond unjust dealing
ವೀರಃ	The heroic one
ಶಕ್ತಿಮತಾಂ	Of the powerful ones
ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠಃ	The best/foremost
ಧರ್ಮಃ	Righteousness itself
ಧರ್ಮವಿದುತ್ತಮಃ	The best among the knowers of dharma

(रामो विरामो विरजो मार्गो नेयो नयोऽनयः ।
वीरः शक्तिमतां श्रेष्ठो धर्मो धर्मविदुत्तमः ॥ ४३ ॥)

rāmo virāmo virajo mārgo neyo nayo'nayaḥ |
vīraḥ śaktimatāṃ śreṣṭho dharmo dharmaviduttamaḥ || 43 ||
