ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೫೧ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ಧರ್ಮಗುಬ್ಧರ್ಮಕೃದ್ಧರ್ಮೀ ಸದ್ಅಸತ್ಕ್ಷರಮಕ್ಷರಮ್ ।
ಅವಿಜ್ಞಾತಾ ಸಹಸ್ರಾಂಶುರ್ವಿಧಾತಾ ಕೃತಲಕ್ಷಣಃ ॥ ೫೧ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ಧರ್ಮಗುಪ್	The protector of dharma
ಧರ್ಮಕೃತ್	The upholder of dharma
ಧರ್ಮೀ	One endowed with dharma
ಸತ್	Existence/being itself
ಅಸತ್	Non-being, the unmanifest
ಕ್ಷರಂ	The perishable, the manifest world
ಅಕ್ಷರಂ	The imperishable, the unmanifest
ಅವಿಜ್ಞಾತಾ	One who cannot be fully known by ordinary means
ಸಹಸ್ರಾಂಶುಃ	The one of a thousand rays, the sun
ವಿಧಾತಾ	The ordainer of destiny
ಕೃತಲಕ್ಷಣಃ	One who established all defining marks

(धर्मगुब्धर्मकृद्धर्मी सदसत्क्षरमक्षरम् ।
अविज्ञाता सहस्रांशुर्विधाता कृतलक्षणः ॥ ५१ ॥)

dharmagubdharmakṛddharmī sadasatkṣaramakṣaram |
avijñātā sahasrāṃśurvidhātā kṛtalakṣaṇaḥ || 51 ||
