ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೬ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ಅಪ್ರಮೇಯೋ ಹೃಷೀಕೇಶಃ ಪದ್ಮನಾಭೋಽಮರಪ್ರಭುಃ ।
ವಿಶ್ವಕರ್ಮಾ ಮನುಸ್ತ್ವಷ್ಟಾ ಸ್ಥವಿಷ್ಠಃ ಸ್ಥವಿರೋ ಧ್ರುವಃ ॥ ೬ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ಅಪ್ರಮೇಯಃ	Immeasurable, beyond comprehension
ಹೃಷೀಕೇಶಃ	The Lord of the senses
ಪದ್ಮನಾಭಃ	He from whose navel the lotus of creation springs
ಅಮರಪ್ರಭುಃ	The Lord of the immortals (gods)
ವಿಶ್ವಕರ್ಮಾ	The maker of the universe
ಮನುಃ	The thinker, the primeval law-giver
ತ್ವಷ್ಟಾ	The shaper/fashioner of forms
ಸ್ಥವಿಷ್ಠಃ	The grossest, most massive
ಸ್ಥವಿರಃ	The ancient one, the eldest
ಧ್ರುವಃ	The fixed, permanent one

(अप्रमेयो हृषीकेशः पद्मनाभोऽमरप्रभुः ।
विश्वकर्मा मनुस्त्वष्टा स्थविष्ठः स्थविरो ध्रुवः ॥ ६ ॥)

aprameyo hṛṣīkeśaḥ padmanābho'maraprabhuḥ |
