ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೮೯ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ಸಹಸ್ರಾರ್ಚಿಃ ಸಪ್ತಜಿಹ್ವಃ ಸಪ್ತೈಧಾಃ ಸಪ್ತವಾಹನಃ ।
ಅಮೂರ್ತಿರ್ಅನಘೋಽಚಿಂತ್ಯೋ ಭಯಕೃದ್ಭಯನಾಶನಃ ॥ ೮೯ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ಸಹಸ್ರಾರ್ಚಿಃ	One of a thousand rays
ಸಪ್ತಜಿಹ್ವಃ	One of seven tongues, as fire
ಸಪ್ತೈಧಾಃ	One with sevenfold fuel
ಸಪ್ತವಾಹನಃ	One whose vehicle has seven horses
ಅಮೂರ್ತಿಃ	The formless one
ಅನಘಃ	The sinless one
ಅಚಿಂತ್ಯಃ	The inconceivable one
ಭಯಕೃತ್	One who instills fear in the wicked
ಭಯನಾಶನಃ	The destroyer of fear in devotees

(सहस्रार्चिः सप्तजिह्वः सप्तैधाः सप्तवाहनः ।
अमूर्तिरनघोऽचिन्त्यो भयकृद्भयनाशनः ॥ ८९ ॥)

sahasrārciḥ saptajihvaḥ saptaidhāḥ saptavāhanaḥ |
amūrtiranagho'cintyo bhayakṛdbhayanāśanaḥ || 89 ||
