ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೯೨ - ವಿಷ್ಣು ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ

ಧನುರ್ಧರೋ ಧನುರ್ವೇದೋ ದಂಡೋ ದಮಯಿತಾ ದಮಃ ।
ಅಪರಾಜಿತಃ ಸರ್ವಸಹೋ ನಿಯಂತಾಽನಿಯಮೋಽಯಮಃ ॥ ೯೨ ॥

ಪದ ಅರ್ಥ

ಪದ	Meaning
ಧನುರ್ಧರಃ	The bow-bearer
ಧನುರ್ವೇದಃ	The science of archery itself
ದಂಡಃ	The rod of discipline
ದಮಯಿತಾ	The subduer
ದಮಃ	Self-control itself
ಅಪರಾಜಿತಃ	The unconquered one
ಸರ್ವಸಹಃ	The all-enduring one
ನಿಯಂತಾ	The controller
ಅನಿಯಮಃ	One not bound by rules himself
ಅಯಮಃ	One not subject to restraint

(धनुर्धरो धनुर्वेदो दण्डो दमयिता दमः ।
अपराजितः सर्वसहो नियन्ताऽनियमोऽयमः ॥ ९२ ॥)

dhanurdharo dhanurvedo daṇḍo damayitā damaḥ |
aparājitaḥ sarvasaho niyantā'niyamo'yamaḥ || 92 ||
