ನಾರಾಯಣಃ (nārāyaṇaḥ)
ಅರ್ಥ: ನಾರಾಯಣ (ಜಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವವನು)
Meaning: one who dwells in the waters (nāra); the goal/resort of all beings
ವ್ಯಾಕರಣ: ನಾರ (ಜಲ) + ಅಯನ (ಧಾತು इ ಇಂದ) — ತತ್ಪುರುಷ ಸಮಾಸ, ಪ್ರಥಮಾ ಏಕವಚನ ಪುಲ್ಲಿಂಗ.
nāra ("water") + ayana ("resting place", from √i) — tatpuruṣa compound, nominative singular masculine.
